Day 1. Arrive LuangPrabang
Arrive at the airport in LUangPrbaang, local guide pick you up and transfer to hotel, if you arrive earlier your guide take you walk in town to visit former royal temple called XIangthong temple and other oldest temple in town, walk along the main street to discover the UNESCO world heritage town, drive to waterfall in late afternoon if time enough. In the evening visit night market on your own,Luangprabang is the oldest city in Laos, and before the 16th century it was the capital city of the land of million elephants (Laos). The town is a beautifully preserved and in 1995 it was added to UNESCO`s World heritage list.

Day 2: Luang Prabang: ride to Kuang Si Waterfalls 60 km
An easy ride to the scenic Kuang Si Waterfalls along with ethnic villages such as Hmong and Khmu. Enjoy a swim in the clear water basins of the Kuang Si Waterfalls. Cycle back to hotel in town (no support van)

Day 3: LuangPrabang – Kiewkacham - Phoukhoun
We transfer by our private van to the top of First Mountain. Today’s ride will take us up around 1000 meters in elevation and the climbs start almost as soon as we leave town .we ride out of the Mekong valley and into the mountains. We pass many villages and stop for refreshments every 15 or 20 km, then start a series of tough climbs. After 15 km of climbing (1005 m above sea level) we stop for lunch at small village. After lunch we cycle the rest to the other town where we stay overnight, optional transfer last 15 – 20 km to our destination.

Day 4: Phoukhoun – Phonsavan (the plain of jars)
Our guide will prepare breakfast; we drive on route 7 to the plain of jars we start our first climb of the day through hill tribe villages known as Hmong (high lander) and Kmu (up lands). Lunch stop along the road prepared by our team, we would ride around 80 – 90 km and we transfer the rest to Phonsavan where we stay overnight.

Day 5: Phonsavan – Kasi
Phonsavanh used to be the battled field between the communist government and anti-communist government in 1964 – 1973. After breakfast we drive out of town for 8 km to see the plain of jars. The history of the stone jars remain a mystery today, there are more than 60 sites, scattered in different group all across the plateau. Only three groups have been surveyed and assigned registration. The other groups have not yet been surveyed because the locations are covered with thick bushes and contaminated by many remaining UXOs (Unexploded ordinances) leftover from the Indo-China war. The highest jar is more than 3 meters. There are several difference theories as to the purpose of the jars, which are estimated to be 2500 – 3000 years old. According to local legend, King Khoun Chuang had them constructed in order to store wine for the big celebration of his victory in the 6th century.
We drive on the road 7 back to the junction of Phoukhoun town, we start cycle from the junction to our destination of Kasi, we will ride down route 13 ,this 25 km descent is one of the best in this route, we will enjoy a most excellent ride to the bottom we stop for lunch at the local restaurant by hot spring, we then have a short climb before a flat ride into Kasi where we stay overnight.

Day 6: Kasi – Vangvieng
After breakfast at local restaurant, we continue along route 13 and although there are some short climbs most of the ride is downhill or flat. The scenery is just beautiful and you should really enjoy stretching your legs. We will stop for refreshments a few times along the way, but we make a main stop after 50 km at a big village of Ban Phatang we you can take great pictures of fantastic view, we load our bikes into support truck and transfer the rest to our destination of Vangvieng where we stay over night.

Day 7: Vangvieng - Thalat
We have a long ride today and the heat may be the factor so we will want to leave early. We continue along the route 13 and stop for refreshment every 20 or 25 km. The rest of the morning is along undulating roads to Hinherb village. After 69 km we reach a long bridge, we stop for lunch in a restaurant. The afternoon ride is along fast flat roads. After 83 km, we turn left at a main junction of Phonhong town. After 15 km of riding along the flat road and takes, us into the town of Thalat near the NamNgum dam.

Day 8: Thalat - Vientiane
We ride out of Thalat pass the NamNgum dam, we have one sharp hill in the morning then it is all fairly flat, we stop for lunch in a local restaurant when we feel like it. Riding today there are more traffic so please remember to keep riding on right side all the time and we regroup before getting into town and then we cycling to hotel.
