2 Days Luang Namtha Off-Road Cycling and Homestay

8:00 AM you will start your biking trip with a meeting your local guide and choosing the most suitable mountain bike for you! The tour will begin from the office where you will cycle on paved roads before riding on off-road trails. At our first mountaintop stop, you will see beautiful views of the town. Then we head onward, biking up and down hills until arriving at the first village Ban Nam Khone of the Lantan tribe. Here we take a break and chat with the locals for a while. Make sure to ask your guide a story of the tribe! Next, we will continue cycling through beautiful forests until we stop for a lunch and to enjoy the views. We continue to cycle until we reach the Ban Nam Talan village of the Khmu tribe, where we will spend the night with a local family. You will enjoy the freshly made meals prepared by locals in a traditional style.

You will wake up on a cool and fresh morning. Hot coffee or tea will be served with breakfast. After we will begin our cycle by crossing streams before heading into the narrow paths. During this day of cycling, there will be trails up and down the mountain slopes that will lead you to the remote village of Ban Nam Peak, the first village that has been located a long time ago in the National Protected Area. Then we head up a steep mountain before descending down to Ban Sopsim. We will ride along the riverbank, enjoying the beautiful scenery for a couple of hours. Soon we arrive back into the town, ending the biking trip in the late afternoon.
